Q2. How does Open Learning work?
Answer:

Open Learning is a flexible method of studying that is designed to fit around your existing work and personal commitments so that you can choose how and when you study, enabling you to train for a new career when it´s convenient for you. Once you have applied and been accepted for your course you will then be able to log in to our innovative Kaplan Open Learning (KOL) classroom that you can access from anywhere at anytime. All of your tutors and tutorials will be interactive via the KOL site. You can also meet other students on your course and speak to your tutors and academic advisers by phone.

There are elements of the course that are timetabled to enable group lectures and discussions. The timings of these group sessions will be given to you by your tutor. There is also a self-managed element that runs alongside the timetabled modules where you will be given assignments to complete on your own time.
